First, we come look at the job
Tell us where the house is and roughly what you want done, and we'll come look at the work with you. How the existing work sits, what you want it to look like, and what has to move to get there are what decide the size of a job — and a description rarely captures all three.
Walk it with us and point out what you want done, and anything we should leave alone. A photo of a crack is useful; standing in the room is better. We work to what we agreed.
Then we quote the real job
Once we've seen it, you get a price for the work in front of us. Sending us a quote request costs nothing, and a price we come back with doesn't commit you to anything.
There's no list price for this trade, and we don't pretend otherwise. A small repair and a full remodel are two different jobs, so every quote is written to one house.
Who shows up
You'll be dealing with the person who quoted the job. We show up ready for the work we agreed, do it, and leave it looking like it should.
Quality over quantity — we take the jobs we can do well. One pair of hands, the work in front of us, finished properly rather than rushed.
On the day
We need a way in. Tell us up front if getting in is awkward, so we plan for it instead of finding out on the morning.
Whether you're there while the work happens is worth settling when we quote the job. Either way, looking at the work first and agreeing what's getting done is what makes the rest of it straightforward.
What it looks like afterwards
We leave the job looking like it should — tools packed, the work finished to what we agreed. If something is still outstanding, we say so before we go rather than leaving you to find it.
Weather moves work
A lot of this work is indoors and weather doesn't touch it. Outdoor work — paint, wood, anything that has to dry — waits on a dry spell, because rushing it shows.
If something isn’t right
If the work doesn't come out the way you understood it would, tell us — while we're still there if you can, or as soon as you notice. We'd far rather hear it from you than not hear it at all.
